Normal HEPA filters the gasket is EVA neoprene around the frame. As the fluid gel is semisolid with good fluidity, the gel can create enough shape modification to install the slot between frame with the filter holder.

Back Side Fluid Seal HEPA Filter Itroduction:
Back Side Fluid Seal HEPA Filter constructed with a built-in channel in the filter frame contains a non- flowing,non-hardening urethane gel sealant. Designed for framing systems and housing equipped with a “knife edge” seal.
The knife edge inserts and submerges into the gel seal on the filter to prevent leakage Gel Seal are available in cell side (filter frame) depths of 3 1/8” (80mm).
Reverse Gel Seal filters constructed with the built-in gel channel located at the back of the upstream side of the filter. Placing the channel in this position enables the filter to fit up into the housing to save space.
Back Side Fluid Seal HEPA Filter Feature:
1.Access to the filter is from the room side of the unit.
2.Designed for housings and ducted modules equipped with a “knife edge” seal.
3.The knife edge inserts and submerges into the gel seal on the filter to prevent leakage.
4.Excellent replacement filter for permanently installed ducted ceiling modules.
5.Reverse Gel Seal are available in cell side (filter frame) depths of 3”(75mm) and 3 7/8” (93mm)
